Software Project Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity for qualified Software Project Engineers to join our expanding team.

Lighthouse Systems is one of the world’s leading suppliers of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) using the latest software techniques to enable global organisations to achieve superior manufacturing performance, putting technology on the shopfloor of the most forward thinking industries.

We are passionate about our work. We’ve built a product that’s brought the latest tech to the market and we’re scaling up to deliver it to a wide range of exciting customers.

We’re constantly expanding our talented team, so we’re always looking for creative, capable engineers to help us achieve our goal.

What you can expect from Lighthouse Systems:

You'll receive first-class experience working on innovative and exciting projects coupled with having the constant support and guidance from our experienced Project teams and Developers.

We encourage people to get involved in all aspects of the business. All ideas are good ideas and we have an open and inclusive team always keen to listen to and put forward new ideas for the product and the way we work.

Right now we have around 50 people in the project team out of roughly 100 people and we have big goals. There are many large scale projects being worked on at any one time across a variety of different manufacturing industries.

You will have access to work directly with anyone in the business, enabling strong knowledge share so you’ll know about how the product is used day to day.

As part of the project team you may get the chance to travel the world, visiting our customers to understand their requirements and see first-hand how the software is going to be used. This level of access gives you a unique insight into how the product needs to be shaped going forward, as well as providing the detailed understanding enabling you to extend the product for the customer’s needs.

Additionally, much of the power in our solutions comes in the ability to connect with external systems. The variety in these systems is vast meaning you could be writing an interface in C# one day, building a web service the next, or writing complex SQL reports to meet customer challenges. Engineers are listened to throughout every stage of the product and directly influence and contribute to the technical choices made for the project.
