Applications for our 2019-20 IT Degree Apprenticeship programme are now CLOSED
The Degree Apprenticeship is a 4 year programme with course work designed to support the development of a range of soft skills including report writing, presentations and software development. This is part university-based modules and part business work experience.
You would be employed full-time by Lighthouse and attend the University of Chichester on a Day Release basis. The degree apprenticeship aims to develop practical information technology skills along with project management, interpersonal and business skills.
Tuition fees for the 4 years are met by the Government and Lighthouse, students cannot apply for a living expenses loan as they are expected to fund living expenses from their salary. This means that you will qualify with a full honors degree and have no consequential debt liability.
3 A Levels or the equivalent - this must include A Level/BTEC ICT or the equivalent
Maths and English GCSE at grade C or above
Have an interest in programming outside of your studies
Annual Holiday Entitlement
Free lunch and refreshments whilst in the office
Free car parking at the office
Travel to day release will be paid for
