Open Positions

You don’t need to have a 1st class degree in Computer Science to be a great developer.

Our engineers come from all walks of life in our team, we have a wide range of backgrounds, from degree apprentices who we’re taking on the journey, to STEM and CS grads. A few of our team joined us with very limited coding experience. As long as you are smart, ready to learn new things and have a passion for problem solving and building great solutions, we would love to meet you.

  • Two tests online - Logical reasoning and Competency

  • Video Interview

  • Assessment Day

    Our assessments day are to give you the feel of the company, we have small groups of six candidates following the same format below:

    • Two interviews - One with our Technical guru, testing out your skills and the second with our Technical Director, looking through your experience.  

    • Group exercise 

    • 5 minute presentation to the group

Aleasha Fox

Name: Aleasha Fox

Title: Project Engineer

Aleasha joined Lighthouse as a Graduate Project Engineer in 2017. She works in the Implementation team and is regularly in direct contact with customers, developing and deploying their custom solutions. In her spare time, Aleasha enjoys making and refurbishing wooden furniture and décor.

Name: Alex Dean

Title: Student Project Engineer

Alex is one of our placement students this year from the University of Bath.  He is part of Team Alpha on the development team so works on fixing bugs and implementing new features of SFOL. He balances his spare time between playing guitar and watching netflix.

George is one of our student placements from the university of Brunel.
He is part of the implementation team, where he works closely with customers to implement scripts and queries to meet their needs.

Jamie Sykes

Name: Jamie Sykes

Title: Degree Apprentice

Jamie is the most recent degree apprentice taken on here. He works closely with a team to develop and implement scripts and queries used in our product which is currently running overseas. He is working towards his BSc degree and so goes to University one day a week but works on it at home as well.

As part of the Implementation team, I have worked on a variety of projects. Recently I helped with a project to implement and present some new features to potential clients.
